Research Area:Our lab investigates the molecular mechanisms of neuronal cell death and aging using Drosophila models, genetic screening, and cell biology studies. We have identified druggable targets to regulate neuronal death and validated them in mammalian cultures and rodent models of neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, we explore calcium homeostasis and its role in neuronal aging, aiming to discover brain-protective drugs.
