Address:No.10, Xitoutiao, You’anmenwai, Beijing
Research Area:Our research team specializes in immunological studies of allergic and respiratory diseases. In recent years, we have established a comprehensive research framework focused on chronic respiratory diseases including asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Our investigations primarily explore the roles of IL-25, IL-33, and TSLP in asthma pathogenesis. We have elucidated how these cytokines and group 2 innate lymphoid cells (ILC2s)–the primary targets of these cytokines–drive airway inflammation and remodeling in asthma. Turning to COPD research, our group has characterized the autoimmune pathogenesis of this disease through multidimensional approaches encompassing epigenetics, metabolic and genetic regulation. These studies have identified diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets associated with disease progression.
